Welcome to Renaissance Coton de Tulear, a breeder in CT (Connecticut). We are a short distance from the NY (New York) area, MA (Massachusetts), PA (Pennsylvania), NJ (New Jersey), and RI (Rhode Island). We have quite a few puppy families in VT (Vermont), NH (New Hampshire), and ME (Maine)as well. We see that your search for information on the rare breed Coton de Tulear, originating from Madagascar, has led you here to Renaissance Cotons. We have been breeding beautiful healthy Coton de Tulear puppies for quite some time now. Many of our Coton puppies have gone on to become certified therapy dogs and service dogs. One of our puppies was featured in the very prestigious Dogs USA magazine in their 2010 - 25th year anniversary edition. Look for our Cotons on Animal Planet's Dogs 101, where they recently featured the Coton de Tulear. The Coton has been in the USA for over 30 years now and most everyone that sees one has never even heard of a Coton, much less able to even pronounce it. Ko-Tawn -de -Too- Lee -Are, to be exact. People just instantly fall in love with this little clown-like, non shedding, hypo-allergenic dog. The Coton has been the best kept secret up until now. To read more on the history of the Coton de Tulear, please visit the Coton de Tulear Breeders of Excellence website at http://royalcotondetulearbreeders.com and then go to their history page.
We health test all of our breeding dogs to insure you will be adding a healthy and happy puppy to your family. Our puppies are reserved way before they are even conceived in most cases. We believe it's important to secure wonderful homes for our puppies before a breeding even takes place. This in our opinion, is what an ethical breeder should always do. Beware of Breeders that have a lot of litters with a lot of puppies always available. They should be securing at least 3 homes prior to their litters being born.
Please browse through our website where you will find a lot more information, along with pictures of our adults and puppies. For the most up to date information on our upcoming litter plans, please check out our blog at http://renaissancecotondetulear.blogspot.com. Enjoy your stay.
